This is a HUGE day of accomplishment for my son, Zachary.  I am going to let HIM tell the world about the details, but I just have to share how proud I am of him and all that he is striving for.  I couldn’t be happier to call him my son.

So, for all my clients and friends, who know how much I cheer for you, push you, drive you to get better, stronger, fitter and more fabulous everyday…I think you can understand how hard it must be to be my kid.  🙂  I try to give him the same kind of encouragement that I give you, and that I give myself.  It’s not always easy to be a Badass, but Zach is a chip off the old block, and I am thrilled to see it.

Just in case you think that I don’t really talk this way, or think this way, I thought I would put up a copy of the text I sent Zach this morning on his way out the door to achieve amazing things….and in typical 17-year-old fashion, I did not receive a response, but I wasn’t really expecting one, either.

I think you will get a chuckle out of it, and I hope you get a little inspiration too…get out there and be a Badass today!

To Zach:

Perseverance, desire, drive & commitment…that’s what they are looking for in you….and I know you have boatloads of each of those traits.  Knock it out of the park today.  Balls to the wall.  Give it a final push all the way to the end. Your body is strong.  Your mind is strong.  Push your limits today.  It’s okay to puke.  🙂  That’s when you know you truly gave it all.  Get psyched.  You’ve GOT this!!
