Melanie has been an active member of the fitness industry since 1991. Beginning as a group fitness instructor, Melanie quickly realized her passion for helping people to become stronger, fitter and healthier. She pursued her personal training certification and began to work with adults and children from all walks of life, many of whom had never seen the inside of a well-stocked gym facility.
Many of us have seen people who go to the gym day in and day out and their body never changes. When working with Melanie however, she will ensure that you gain the knowledge and technique you need to have a plan for each and every time you go to exercise. Melanie works as a trainer as well as an educator, ensuring that you are comfortable with the exercises and have a goal-oriented mindset when exercising. Melanie is able to clearly explain to clients how to properly use weights in order to stay healthy, lift appropriately, and build muscle to create a lean and tone body. She is a stickler for technique, and ensures that all clients learn how to use gym equipment appropriately and safely.
Extensively trained in physiology and anatomy, certified in heart rate assessment, monitoring and program design, as well as in marathon/triathlon coaching programming/implementation, and experienced in weight loss/body transformation with hundreds of clients, Melanie is the trainer that can help you to reach your health and fitness goals, no matter what they are!
Personal training sessions are available as one-on-one, small group, or even online coaching with Melanie. Paired with her extensive knowledge as a Nutrition Coach, Melanie offers a complete personal training package to all of her clients, guaranteed to meet their goals.
